Is it safe to link bank account details with this kind of apps?
Generally, it is safe. The entire UPI system is developed in such a way that the banks share our limited info with such apps.
Then, when it comes to transacting, such apps work only as a mediatory link between the two party’s bank accounts. Our full bank details are not revealed to any party. That is the best part of UPI.
But yes while paying, we should be very careful, as the amount goes out in seconds!
